My husband and I are extremely happy with the results of our painted kitchen cupboards.The work ethic of Kathleen and Pete was impeccable. They arrived on time and finished on time. The unpaintable surfaces were protected and they cleaned up everything when done. The new hardware suggested was the icing on the cake. My wife and I were hesitant about painting our oak cabinets so it took us a while to go ahead with our project. We contacted Peter and he gave us contact information for a couple of his previous customers who had their oak cabinets painted. We called them and though still not quite convinced we were able to go and look at the cabinets in their home. We were quite impressed with the finish so we decided to go ahead with our project.We were told that it would take approximately 4 days to complete and they were bang on.Peter and his wife Kathleen came on Monday and removed all our cabinet doors and drawer fronts and discussed how the work would proceed.On Tuesday Kathleen came on her own and she thoroughly cleaned the cabinets and taped off the surrounding walls, floors and countertops. Kathleen then applied some wood filler to the gaps and imperfections in the cabinet and base in preparation for painting.Wednesday had Kathleen at a different job site as they had taken on two jobs this week which is an abnormality.On Thursday Kathleen returned and sanded the wood filled areas and began priming. She applied 3 coats of primer today. This is possible as it dries quite fast and she can start over once she's gone all around the room. It was a full day today.On Friday Kathleen gave another light sanding then applied the finish coat in the colour that we chose. In our case we chose Sea Pearl which is a Benjamin Moore colour and has light grey undertones to match our kitchen decor.After the finish coat Kathleen applied a clear coat finish which hardens under UV light. Later in the morning Peter came with the finished cabinet doors and ran the UV light over the cabinets. He had previously done this with the cabinet doors in their shop.This was a full day as the doors needed to be reinstalled, adding the cabinet hinges and door handles. We chose new door handles and soft close hinges as well.We are very pleased with the results and Peter and Kathleen werevery nice and explained the process very well which is comforting as you're making this big change in the way your kitchen looks.Peter and Kathleen are very good at what they do and we would recommend using NHance for your cabinet refresh. It is much more cost effective than brand new cabinets.Keep up the good work!Pam and Barry Leaver
Hiring Peter and Kathleen(N-Hance) to paint our Kitchen cabinets and Island as opposed to the other options we considered, was the smartest decision we made this year. Over a 5 day in July they took dull looking 18 yr. old dark Maple cabinets from drab to a brilliant Chantilly Lace White. They are so easy to talk to and determined to do right by you.
